The Rome College Foundation, through the Student/Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Program, awarded scholarships to two Rome Free Academy students. Each student selects the teacher whom they feel has played an influential role in their education. Both students from RFA chose the same two teachers: Mrs. Wendy Waters from RFA and Mrs. Marg Maurer from St. Peters. Pictured left to right are: Mrs. Waters, Stephainie Tardugno, Kayla Holmes, Mrs. Maurer, and Brenda McMonagle, the V.P. of the Rome College Foundation who presented the awards.  The parents of Stephanie are Mark and Therese Tardugno and the parents of Kayla are Brent and Amy Holmes.
